A Vision for a Fresh Start
As I build Tribevibe, many people pose me the following question: “Is Tribevibe a replacement of Couchsurfing?” The direction in which the platform is being built as of now can effectively replace it, but that's not the essence of Tribevibe, nor its primary goal.
1000 True Fans
So, here is the deal. I decided to set a precise goal before launch. I want to find 1,000 true fans and give them the possibility to invite much more people to Tribevibe than the regular members who will join us afterwards.
It’s been a hectic week for me with Tribevibe. But I came up with yet another idea to solve a peculiar challenge. The challenge? How can first-time Tribevibers earn a reputation before they even aquire reviews from hosts or people they’ve met?
Introducing the Invite System
I decided to empower you, the existing Tribevibe members, to have control who gets inside. You'll have the ability to invite a trusted circle of friends whom you believe share the same travelling spirit.
So Much to Tell
This week has been very fruitful to me with the design progress. But before diving into that, I promised to tell more about the Tribevibe's vision. So, here we go.
The New Logo Has Arrived
There are days when I can tell you all the stories about Tribevibe, and the bright future that such a community can create. Yet, there are days when language simply fails to obey my thoughts. So, visuals come to the rescue.
I’m so happy to be alive at a time where awareness grows. I witness how you, me, and people in general, have so much to express and to share that expression with others.
These are exciting times. And existing times need courage. Perhaps, a bit of naiveness too. Naiveness that creates a belief, unhampered by the discursive mind that questions what's possible.
